Wenham Police, in partnership with Hamilton Police and Topsfield Police, competed in the Boston Bruins BFit challenge.

The challenge took place on Feb. 2 at TD Garden. Participants, which included first responders and military personnel, were invited to walk, run, or step to raise awareness about health and wellness while raising funds for charities.

Participants included Wenham Police Sergeants Mike Mscisz and Chad LaBrie, Wenham Officers Tyler Salois, Bart Connors, Matt Krikorian, John Phillips, Hamilton Police Officers Jake Santarelli and Sean Vasque, and Topsfield Police Officer Keegan O’Donnell.

The nine-person team raised $3,565 for the organization Tunnels to Towers. The organization was founded after 9/11 and has been helping America’s heroes by providing mortgage-free homes to Gold Star and fallen first responder families with young children and building specially adapted smart homes for catastrophically injured veterans and first responders. The foundation is also committed to eradicating veteran homelessness and helping America to ‘Never Forget’ September 11, 2001.

Wenham Police would like to congratulate the participating officers for their efforts during the challenge!
