Severe Weather Possible

General Advisory from JGPR (For Planning Purposes)

GEORGETOWN, Mass. — Severe weather is in the forecast for New England this afternoon, including the likelihood that the National Weather Service will issue a Tornado Watch.

As a note to news editors: John Guilfoil Public Relations LLC provides communications and public relations support for police and fire departments and municipal governments in New England and elsewhere.

During weather emergencies, please do not call the police or fire dispatch centers, as it may tie up vital public safety personnel and phone lines. News editors and reporters can reach JGPR at 617-993-0003, 781-752-9877, and 978-769-5193.

Locally, our clients spread as far north as mid-state New Hampshire, as far south as Blackstone and Franklin on the Rhode Island Border, as far west as Boxborough and Pepperell, and Gloucester, Wenham, and Ipswich in the eastern extreme of the state.

We also provide on-demand support for other agencies, when requested.

In the event of a Tornado Warning, microburst, macroburst, or other severe or sudden event, we will issue advisories as soon as information is available.
