WENHAM — Chief Thomas C. Perkins is very pleased to announce that after a lengthy interview process, the Wenham Police Department has selected its newest full-time police officers.
Officer Mia Cefalo and Officer Mandy Cecchini will be appointed in the coming months and will attend the Municipal Police Training Committee Reading Police Academy in the spring.
Cefalo and Cecchini are currently serving the department as reserve officers.
Officer Cefalo holds a master’s degree in criminal justice from UMass Lowell. Officer Cecchini holds a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice from Salem State University. Officer Cecchini’s father is Beverly Police Officer Steve Cecchini.
