Wenham Police Department Announces Winter Parking Ban

WENHAM — Chief Thomas Perkins and the Wenham Police Department announce they will begin enforcing a winter parking ban, which will restrict overnight parking effective Nov. 15, 2015 through March 31, 2016.

According to town bylaws, the parking ban states that no vehicles should be parked on the street between midnight and 6 a.m.

Wenham Police will begin by issuing warnings in order to encourage compliance with the parking ban, but warn residents that vehicles may be towed at the owners expense if they are obstructing snow removal efforts, at the request of the DPW.
