Wenham Police Cite Driver After Pedestrian Stuck on Tuesday Morning

Victim Expected to Survive

WENHAM — Police Chief Thomas Perkins announces that a Florida man has been cited after he allegedly struck a pedestrian crossing Linden Street in a marked crosswalk.

Wenham Police and Fire and Hamilton Police and Fire Units responded to the intersection of Linden and Main streets at 9:40 Tuesday morning, where they found the victim, a 68-year-old man from Rockport.

The victim was taken by Lyons Ambulance to a nearby hospital. He is expected to survive.

The driver, identified as PETER J. FEITH, age 54, of Homestead, Fla. was cited at the scene for failure to yield to a pedestrian in a crosswalk.

The incident remains under investigation by Wenham Police.
